The new Student Union on CAC’s Signal Peak Campus is conveniently located at the intersection of the academic, athletic, residential and administrative cores. The 28,600 sq ft building sits on the southern edge of the campus’ primary green space, highly exposed and easily accessible. Native plants, combined with salvaged trees and cacti, will accentuate the project’s shady surroundings, encouraging respite and recharge. Exterior shaded spaces have been created to allow students to relax and socialize in a comfortable outdoor environment. Existing union building is set to be demolished and the site will be re-vegetated with natural landscape.
