College Avenue Commons is a mixed-use, five-story building designed for the ASU School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment and the Sun Devil Marketplace. The facility provides flexible, mediated classrooms, offices, labs and collaboration/study spaces for Del E. Webb School of Construction, Construction Engineering, the Alliance for Construction Excellence, and the Civil, Environmental and Sustainable Engineering department. The gateway building creates a user-friendly and dynamic experience through shaded walkways, inviting exterior stairs and various spaces to support interaction and connect the surrounding community. A highly adaptable community room can be converted to host events, screenings and meetings. The project was designed in collaboration with Gensler and is LEED Gold certified.
