Architekton is seeking a BIM/VDC Manager to join our team. This position will work closely with the Principals, clients, and studio team to develop, coordinate, and lead various sized projects within the office. This position requires a strong background in facilitating large stakeholder groups and complex public processes. In addition, we value education and mentorship within our studio and encourage this role to take on these tasks as a part of their daily workload.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with design staff to develop, design, and define areas of opportunity for innovation using technology.
Defining standards for architectural design software, using existing standards.
Maintain and continue to develop the office Revit Template
Providing upper-level support for organizing project data, developing custom procedures
Working closely with studio leaders to inform the direction of the company with regards to technology and BIM
Keeping updated on the new trends in the architectural design industry - identifying and leading efforts to incorporate new plugins and opportunities to improve our process.
Generate and manage development of architectural design concepts and project drawings. Provide guidance in the preparation of the project’s cartoon set.
Responsible for coordinating and leading the production team in developing the construction documents.
Provide technical assistance to other team members.
You may also perform as a Project Architect, Project Manager, Interior Designer, etc. in conjunction with the above duties. Please see individual job descriptions as they apply to your skills.
EDUCATION and registrations
Accredited Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture Degree
Registered Architect
LEED Accredited preferred
